- Secondary School Certificate of this University or its equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate of English, Science (including Life Sciences) and Mathematics taken together. Further, the candidate should have passed English, Mathematics and Science individually at the qualifying examination.
- For Diploma in Engineering, A candidate who has passed higher examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects, with not less than 45% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths of equal weightage is also eligible.

AMU entrance exam: Know the exam pattern and syllabus
Candidates should be aware of the question paper features such as subjects, type of questions, test medium and other details before appearing for the entrance exam. Moreover, the exam pattern and syllabus prove to be helpful in the exam preparation to a great extent. The exam pattern of AMU entrance exam for all papers will have some common features as under:
Exam mode: Offline mode i.e. paper based test
Exam duration: Two hours
Exam medium: English (subject language incase of language papers)

Type of questions: Objective type of questions / MCQ
There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks comprising 100 questions with the following breakup :

Total marks: 100 marks

- On the homepage, click on the link available for admit cards under the admissions section.

After the entrance exam
